“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.” - Brené Brown

Claire Arnold, LPC Headshot

I am so glad you are here. Reaching out and asking for help requires courage and vulnerability. I know this from personal experience and applaud you for seeking therapy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I have been practicing since 2019 working with teenagers and their families, college students, and adults. I create a safe environment where you can be heard and feel free to be your authentic self.

My approach to psychotherapy is relational at its core. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the most important vehicle for change because healing happens within the context of genuine connection. I also draw from trauma-informed, attachment-based, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems orientations to talk therapy.

I graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. I went on to earn a master's degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University. As a native West Texan, I am thrilled to be in Lubbock and serve the South Plains community.
